The Nigerian Army has commended Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his swift response to the recent security alert on a planned terrorist attack in parts of the state.
Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Major Njoka Irabor of the 32 Artillery Brigade, Akure, gave the commendation during a visit to the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon. Idowu Ajanaku.
He praised the governor’s proactive measures and continued support to security agencies, including the recent provision of vehicles and equipment to boost operations.
Responding, Hon. Ajanaku appreciated the army’s partnership and assured that the ministry would sustain collaboration through effective information management and public enlightenment. He urged residents to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activities to security authorities.
