The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has reaffirmed his dedication to driving infrastructural development and prioritizing the welfare of the people in the coming year.
In his New Year message, Governor Aiyedatiwa assured residents of Ondo State that 2025 will usher in good governance and renewed faith in the administration. He congratulated the people for witnessing the end of 2024 and expressed optimism for a transformative year ahead across the state’s 18 local government areas.
The Governor extended gratitude to traditional rulers, religious leaders, labor unions, security agencies, and the media for their unwavering support. He also commended the state’s workforce for their dedication and sacrifice throughout 2024.
Governor Aiyedatiwa outlined plans for the 2025 “Budget of Recovery,” emphasizing its focus on accelerating development and completing ongoing projects. Reflecting on his administration’s achievements in 2024—including advancements in infrastructure, job creation, workers’ welfare, and security—he promised to build on these successes.
He praised the peaceful conduct of stakeholders during the previous year’s electoral processes and expressed gratitude for the mandate to continue leading the state beyond 2025.
The Governor urged citizens to support his administration in delivering on the “OUR EASE” mandate, aimed at fostering sustainable development across the state.
“As we embrace the opportunities of the New Year, I reaffirm my commitment to the people of Ondo State,” he said. “Let us intensify prayers for the peace and prosperity of our dear state. May this year bring abundant blessings to individuals, communities, and the entire state.”
Governor Aiyedatiwa concluded by wishing the people of Ondo State a peaceful and prosperous 2025.
