The recent allegations made by the PDP against Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa are baseless and misleading. The approvals mentioned are part of the administration’s efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance governance. The renovations will ultimately benefit the state’s economy and citizens.
We urge the public to disregard these false accusations and focus on verifiable facts. Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration remains committed to transparency and accountability. The people of Ondo State believe in his leadership and want continuity for the state to keep growing.
Furthermore, we cannot help but question the authenticity of the PDP’s recent flag-off rally celebration. Reports indicate that most participants were either hired or coerced into attending, which raises serious concerns about the genuineness of their support. This supposed “show of force” ended up causing more harm than good, as it resulted in a gridlock on Oyemekun Road, blocking this major route
into the state capital, and hindering smooth vehicular movement.
It’s ironic that the PDP claims to prioritize the welfare of Ondo State residents, yet their actions disrupt the very fabric of daily life in Akure. Commercial taxi drivers and private motorists were forced to abandon their routes, fearing damage to their vehicles amidst the chaos.
As we approach the November 16, 2024 governorship election, it’s clear that Governor Aiyedatiwa will emerge victorious. His dedication to the state’s progress and the people’s well-being is unwavering. We cannot be distracted by the PDP’s meritless allegations, designed to tarnish our party’s image and Governor Aiyedatiwa’s reputation.
We will not engage in responding to every false claim, as it’s imperative to focus on issue-based campaign messages. The PDP should clearly define what they will do differently, rather than dwelling on what was left undone during their previous tenure that Governor Aiyedatiwa is building. The people of Ondo State deserve substance over propaganda.
Governor Aiyedatiwa’s impressive track record and vision for Ondo State’s future are set to strike a chord with voters. His highly successful flag-off rallies in two senatorial districts, which drew massive crowds, demonstrate his widespread appeal. Moreover, his commitment to increasing the minimum wage negotiated with federal government workers in the state showcases his dedication to improving the lives of citizens. These accomplishments solidify his reputation as a trusted leader.
The governor’s efforts to transform rural areas through infrastructure projects, such as road construction and rehabilitation, have been particularly noteworthy. By embarking on massive road construction across three senatorial districts, he has demonstrated his focus on enhancing the livelihoods of rural dwellers and farmers
Additionally, his administration’s recognition of education as the cornerstone of development has led to initiatives like the award of bursaries, scholarships, and financial assistance to students.
