Tayo Oluwatuyi, the Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG), has passed away. He was appointed by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in January 2024. Oluwatuyi died on Saturday morning at an undisclosed hospital.
Before this recent appointment, Oluwatuyi had served as the SSG under the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s administration.
In December, it was reported that Oluwatuyi was involved in a car accident along the Ife-Ibadan Expressway. The vehicle he was traveling in skidded off the road and into the bush. He sustained injuries and was taken to the intensive care unit at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
