Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has declared Monday, February 24, 2025, a public holiday to allow residents to participate in the inauguration activities of Governor Aiyedatiwa and Deputy Governor Olayide Owolabi Adelami.
In addition, Governor Aiyedatiwa has announced the cancellation of the restriction of movement on Saturday, February 22, 2025, which would typically be in place for the monthly environmental sanitation exercise. While there will be no movement restrictions, residents are still encouraged to clean their surroundings.

OWO CURFEW LIFTED
Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the lifting of the curfew imposed on the Owo community in Owo Local Government Area due to improved security and the peaceful conduct of the residents.

With the curfew lifted, Owo residents can resume their daily activities and movements without restrictions. Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude to security agencies, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and other stakeholders for their efforts in restoring peace to the area.
