After decades of water scarcity, Idimilokun Community in Alade-Idanre, Ondo State, now has a solar-powered borehole, courtesy of Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN.
For years, residents trekked long distances or relied on unsafe sources. The new facility promises a steady, eco-friendly water supply.
This is divine intervention, said 40-year resident Mr. Nicodemus Nwali. APC Chairman, Hon. Clement Olumide, called it “a legacy,” with more boreholes planned for other communities.
The project will be fully operational within two weeks, and locals have pledged to maintain it for future generations.
