Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved N633,918,000 for the payment of WAEC registration fees for 23,048 public secondary school students in the state.
This payment covers students who passed the Joint Senior Secondary School II Promotion Examination conducted by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology.
The initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on parents and guardians, ensuring all eligible students can participate in the 2025 WAEC examination. It reflects the state’s commitment to promoting equitable access to education, especially in the face of economic challenges.
This support aligns with Governor Aiyedatiwa’s ‘OUR-EASE’ policy on Education, Human Capital Development, and Entrepreneurship, further reinforcing the state’s dedication to empowering students and promoting educational opportunities for all.
