A constructive dialogue between Hon. Derin Adesida, Member representing Akure North and South Federal Constituency, and the leadership of Akure North and South Students’ Associations has yielded immediate benefits for students.
During the meeting, the student leaders presented a comprehensive needs assessment highlighting the welfare and educational support required by their members. In response, Hon. Adesida graciously acceded to all the requests, reaffirming his commitment to the progress of his constituents.
Top on the list was the institution of a bursary scheme. The Honourable Member approved the initiative without hesitation and assured that disbursement would commence without delay.
The two Student Association Presidents, on behalf of their members, expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Adesida for his responsiveness and unwavering support for the student community.
