The Nigeria Police Force intensified its clampdown on Nigerians holding nationwide peaceful protest against hunger, hardship and bad governance under President Bola Tinubu’s government.

Human rights lawyer and activist, Tope Temokun, has called on the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa, and Commissioner of Police to immediately release the governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Ondo State, Kunle Wizeman Ajayi, Take It Back (TIB) member, Patrick Owolabi, and others arrested during the peaceful protest in Akure on Saturday.
