
IGP Egbetokun Warns Officers Against Unethical Practices
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has issued a stern warning to police officers across the country, emphasizing the need to uphold professionalism and ethical conduct in their duties.
In a recent statement, Egbetokun reiterated the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to ensuring accountability and discipline among its personnel. He cautioned against any form of misconduct, corruption, or abuse of power, stressing that officers found guilty of unethical practices would face strict disciplinary measures.

The IGP further urged police officers to maintain public trust by adhering to the core values of integrity, fairness, and respect for human rights. He assured Nigerians that the force remains dedicated to improving security and fostering positive relationships with the public.
