A Nigerian man has sparked widespread debate online after revealing that he ended his relationship on the very first day he visited his girlfriend’s family.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Richmond explained that his decision came after her two older brothers immediately asked him for money during his initial visit.
“I ended a relationship a few years ago because the first time I visited her family, her two elder brothers begged me for money,” Richmond wrote.
The confession quickly went viral, drawing thousands of reactions from Nigerians, some applauding his choice, others criticizing it.
