The Nigerian Army has directed all its personnel to submit their National Identification Numbers (NINs) as part of a new process to validate tax exemptions, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s ongoing fiscal and economic reforms.
The move is aimed at improving transparency, accurate personnel records, and compliance with government tax policies, while ensuring eligible officers and soldiers benefit from statutory tax reliefs.
The Army says the exercise will strengthen accountability across the system and support broader public sector reforms.
