The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 1,531 personnel to secure Anambra State ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s one-day visit on Thursday to inaugurate key projects.
State Commandant Olatunde Maku said officers will secure critical infrastructure and maintain order, working with other security agencies.
Reinforcements come from Enugu, Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, and Delta states.
Tinubu is expected to commission projects including Solution Fun City, the New Government House, and the Emeka Anyaoku Centre at UNIZIK.
