The Ondo State Security Network Agency, known as the Amotekun Corps, has refuted recent claims published under the headline, “Amid Amotekun Operatives’ Pleas for Support, Ondo Governor Contracts Private Security Outfit to Take Over Security Firm’s Function.”
The government has clarified that it has no plans to engage Global Olabod Resources Limited, as suggested in these unverified reports.
The Amotekun Corps emphasized that all security agencies in the state—including the Ondo Police Command, the Army, the Navy, the DSS, and the Civil Defence—are diligently collaborating with Governor Aiyedatiwa to maintain peace and security in Ondo State.
The Corps reassured the public that its operatives, in coordination with other agencies, are committed to ensuring the safety and protection of Ondo State residents.
