The Ondo State Police Command is mourning the sudden death of CSP Nimrod Anaka, DPO of Kajola Police Station, Odigbo LGA.
Police spokesperson DSP Olushola Ayanlade confirmed the incident on Wednesday, saying the cause of death will be determined by medical experts.
Anaka reportedly fell ill on Tuesday and died on the way to the hospital.
His death has shocked colleagues and residents, who described him as a dedicated and selfless officer.
