The Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OSSAA) wishes to formally inform all advertisers, billboard owners, outdoor advertising practitioners, and strategic partners that, in line with the ongoing Urban Revitalization and Infrastructure Renewal Programme of the Ondo State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, certain outdoor advertising structures within the Fiwasaye area of Akure will be affected.
This development follows the impending removal of the Fiwasaye Roundabout as part of the state government’s broader efforts to improve traffic flow, enhance urban aesthetics, and modernize key corridors within the state capital.Consequently, all billboards, signages, and advertisement structures located within and around the Fiwasaye axis that fall within the project’s right-of-way will be removed to allow for seamless execution of the project.
The Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OSSAA) hereby advises all affected owners and operators of signages and advertisement structures in the area to promptly approach the Agency for the purpose of reallocation and relocation of their structures to approved alternative locations, in accordance with existing regulations.
The Agency assures all stakeholders of a transparent and coordinated process and solicits their cooperation as the state government continues to deliver a safer, more functional, and visually appealing urban environment for all residents. We appreciate the understanding and continued partnership of all advertisers and stakeholders.
