Pastor Adeboye Repeats Vision of Peaceful Death

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has again shared his vision of how he will pass on peacefully, on a Sunday, after attending service and eating his favourite pounded yam.

Speaking during the church’s International Convention themed “The Overcomers,” Adeboye stressed that death is not always preceded by illness and that his own departure would be sudden and painless.

In a sermon titled “Possess Your Possessions,” he urged Christians to claim their God-given rights healing, prosperity, fruitfulness, and long life—while resisting spiritual opposition.

Citing biblical examples, Adeboye encouraged believers to stop tolerating sickness, poverty, barrenness, and premature death, declaring: “Fight to possess your possessions it’s your spiritual duty.”
