State Government and Military Leaders Charge New Corps Members to Embrace Discipline and Service

Segun Omoyofunmi had the honour of representing our amiable Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, at the swearing-in ceremony of the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), held yesterday at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ikare-Akoko.

On behalf of the Governor, Segun Omoyofunmi warmly welcomed the newly deployed Corps Members to Ondo State, urging them to uphold the core values, discipline, unity, and national service ideals upon which the NYSC was founded.

He further reassured them of the Ondo State Government’s unwavering commitment to their security, welfare, and overall well-being throughout the service year.

As part of the State’s continuous support for the NYSC scheme, Segun Omoyofunmi also announced the approval of a 216-bed hostel to significantly enhance accommodation facilities for Corps Members deployed to the State.

Major N Irabor, ADAPR 32AB Akure, also addressed the Corps Members during the event, commending their enthusiasm and readiness for service. He emphasized the importance of patriotism, discipline, and teamwork, encouraging them to take full advantage of the training opportunities presented during the orientation course. He assured them of the military’s support in maintaining a safe and secure environment within and around the camp.

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa remains steadfast in his dedication to empowering young people, nurturing leadership potential, and creating an enabling environment where youth can contribute meaningfully to the development of Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
