Omooba Emmanuel Aderosoye Fadola, an APC chieftain from Ifedore Local Government and a grassroots philanthropist, has dismissed the recent political drama in Ofosu, Idanre Local Government, as baseless and disruptive. He described the incident, which included a fake suspension of the APC State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, as an exercise in futility, driven by narrow political motives.
In a statement personally signed by Aderosoye on Sunday, December 15, 2024, he condemned the acts as “destructive and mischievous,” calling on security agencies to prosecute those behind the fabricated claims and the placement of ritual objects at the APC secretariat. According to him, these acts aim to disrupt the peace enjoyed in Ondo State under Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s leadership.
He praised the Ofosu Ward Chairman for swiftly debunking the false reports and taking proactive measures to maintain order.
Aderosoye described Engr. Adetimehin as a seasoned and effective leader with exceptional qualities that have earned him widespread respect:
“Engr. Ade Adetimehin is a skilled politician and an outstanding manager of human resources. His unassuming and altruistic nature has caused unease among detractors, but he remains one of the most celebrated APC State Chairmen in Nigeria.”
Aderosoye further applauded Governor Aiyedatiwa for his visionary leadership and unwavering support for the party and its chairman. He expressed confidence in the continued success of the APC under their leadership.
He concluded by urging all party members to remain united and focused on the collective goals of the APC, stating that Ondo State deserves peace and progress, not unnecessary distractions fueled by baseless allegations.
