The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) staged a protest in Ondo State over the recent killing of innocent youths and indigenes. The protest took place at the Oba Adesida Road, near the High Court Roundabout, drawing significant attention to the issue of security and violence in the region.

As students and activists rallied for justice, the protest caused severe traffic delays, with motorists facing hours of congestion. The demonstrators called for accountability from authorities and demanded immediate action to curb the rising violence affecting the community.
In their call for justice, NANS urged the state governor to take immediate action, fix the security challenges, and find lasting solutions to prevent further bloodshed. They emphasized the need for better protection for all citizens, particularly the youth, and a renewed commitment from the government to safeguard the lives of Ondo State residents.
