The DSS has alerted the Nigerian Army to a planned ISWAP attack on communities in Ondo and Kogi states.
A confidential letter mentioned imminent threats to areas like Eriti-Akoko, Oyin-Akoko, and Owo, with the group reportedly conducting surveillance on soft targets.
The DSS called for heightened security, while Ondo police confirmed they are acting on the intelligence. This comes over three years after ISWAP attacked a church in Owo, killing 41 people.
