This devastating incident underscores the urgent need for strict enforcement of road safety measures and proper vehicle maintenance, especially for heavy-duty trucks.
OSYN calls on the Ondo State Government, traditional rulers, and security agencies to investigate the incident thoroughly, prosecute those who dismantled barricades and extort drivers, and implement lasting safety solutions to prevent future tragedies.
